Thank You!

Thank you for biking with the Erie Family Health Center Auxiliary Council to raise money for Erie’s health and wellness programs.

At Erie, we believe health care is a right, not a privilege. Founded in 1957, Erie Family Health Center provides accessible, affordable, high-quality health care to those in need at 13 sites across Chicagoland, from North Lawndale to Waukegan.

Our 2016 SoulCycle Fundraiser will raise funds to support Erie’s health and wellness programs. Erie patients are able to access a variety of services that go beyond basic primary care. These health and wellness programs help every member of the family stay healthy and active from infancy through adulthood.

Erie’s health education programs include…

Click the program names below to learn more.

  • This club holds training sessions twice a week over the summer months to train patients to run a 5K walk/run.

  • In Erie’s Reach Out and Read program, Erie doctors provide books to children and encourage early reading skills during their pediatric exams. Studies have shown that families who benefit from Reach Out and Read read together more frequently. As a result, their children enter school with stronger language skills than their peers, and they often score higher on vocabulary tests.

  • These monthly group classes are designed for individuals with diabetes or pre-diabetes who want to learn more about the disease and how to control it.

  • Erie’s award-winning HIV/AIDS program that provides not only primary, medical, dental and behavioral health care for HIV-positive patients, but also medication adherence assistance, risk reduction education and nutrition counseling.
