Call Center Operator (Part Time) (WT) #081014

Provides appropriate routing handling of all incoming telephone calls for the health center.  Diverts call to voicemail locations as needed or records and distributes accurate messages.  Answers all telephone inquiries regarding the daily appointment schedule, provider/clinic staff availability, and general patient information.

Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish/English) required. High school diploma and one year related medical office or customer service experience, preferable experience as a medical office assistant or any career related to the medical field. Switchboard operator experience preferred.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English required.

Case Manager (WT) #081010

Manage a caseload of expectant mothers and infants. Provide social services to the clients and their families.  Conduct outreach, maintain accurate case notes, conduct face-to-face assessments, home visits, and submit monthly reports. Document all clients’ pertinent information in the Department of Human Services Cornerstone database system.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field required. Bilingual (English/Spanish), computer skills and cultural competency required. Candidate must possess an Illinois’ driver’s license, automobile and valid automobile insurance. Experience working with the target population (pregnant women and infants) preferred. Candidate must have flexibility to work clinic hours and to be relocated among sites if necessary.

Requirements:

Qualifications include CPA certification and or MBA degree or other relevant master’s degree level preparation, a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive managerial leadership experience in health care finance with a strong preference for medical practice management experience including billing and collection. A demonstrated track record of work with federally qualified health centers or other related health care non-profit agencies is preferred.
