HIV/AIDS, PrEP, and Hepatitis C Services

Since 1989, Erie’s Lending Hands for Life (LHL) program has been working to help those living with HIV/AIDS - or those who are at risk – live healthy lives and reduce the number of transmissions in Chicago.

We offer a wide range of services — from medical care to emotional support — for individuals who are living with HIV. A team of community health workers, case managers, and providers are here to make sure you receive the highest quality care for living your healthiest life.

PrEP Support Group

Sexual health is a a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity. Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.

This support group exists to provide a safe and affirming space to talk about a variety of topics such as hook-up culture, sexuality, family planning, sexual safety, consent, and many other topics surrounding sexual health and what it means for each individual to attain sexual health.

This group meets on the third Tuesday of every month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. CT.
