Maria Isabel Almanza, LCSW, graduated and received her Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams School of Social Work. Maria has over 5 years’ experience as a trauma therapist, previously working children and teens, immigrant/refugee populations, survivors of physical and emotional violence, and adolescents experiencing homelessness. Maria has been seeing patients at Erie through their school-based program since March of 2022. Maria is currently a school based behavioral health consultant, providing therapy to students at Lake View High School.
