Opportunities for Our Team to Participate in and Advance Erie’s Culture and Community

One Erie: Culture and Community Council

Erie’s Culture and Community Council meets regularly to guide Erie’s Culture and Community Action Plan and work towards creating an environment for equity and inclusion amongst staff and patients in alignment with Erie’s mission, vision and values.  The committee’s focus areas are:

  • One Erie: Engagement Committee
  • Communication and Change Management
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Patients and Services
Culture and Community Training

All new Erie team members participate in Culture and Community Training, with the goal to develop a shared language for and understanding of core concepts and key terminology.

Town Halls

Erie regularly invites all team members to virtual Town Halls. These optional sessions make space for people to process and respond to current internal and external events.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Erie’s Employee Resource Groups connect team members who share common backgrounds or interests. They provide personal and professional development through mentoring, events, volunteerism and community involvement. All employees are welcome to join any ERG. 

Erie currently hosts four active ERGs:

  • For the Culture: Black ERG
  • Queerie LGBTQIA+ ERG
  • Diverse Abilities ERG
  • Raices: Latiné ERG

Any Erie employee is welcome to submit an application to form a new Employee Resource Group.
