Erie Sankofa Village Health Center - serving our neighbors in West Garfield Park
Scheduled to open in January 2026, at the corner of Madison and Kildare in West Garfield Park, Erie Sankofa Village Health Center will serve people of all ages, from newborns to seniors, with affordable, high-quality primary healthcare services.
Our newest health center, located inside the Sankofa Village Wellness Center, will offer medical, dental and behavioral healthcare services, regardless of a person's insurance status or ability to pay—because we believe that quality healthcare is a human right.

Erie accepts all Medicaid plans and many private insurances. We also offer a sliding fee payment scale based on income. For the most up-to-date information visit: 
If you are an Erie patient, and you feel sick, call 312.666.3494. An on-call nurse or doctor is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. (This call may be covered by insurance, or if not covered, a sliding scale fee may apply.)
