True Metrix Device Error
Important notice for TRUE METRIX blood glucose monitor users
The FDA has recalled all TRUE METRIX blood glucose monitors due to an issue with a particular error code.
The meters may display an “E-5” error code for two very different reasons:
- Test strip error
OR - a critically high blood sugar level
You may continue using your True Metrix meter, but if you see the error code “E-5”, and are having symptoms including fatigue, excess urination, thirst or blurry vision, please recheck your blood sugar with a new strip and seek medical attention.

La FDA ha retirado del mercado todos los medidores de glucosa en sangre TRUE METRIX debido a un problema relacionado con un código de error específico.
